The Strathmore Easter Egg Hunt at Kinsmen Park is a favourite spring tradition for local families. Kids search the park for colourful eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, and enjoy fun activities like games and face painting. With dedicated areas for different age groups and plenty of cheerful springtime energy, it’s a warm, community-minded event that brings families together year after year. 

Special “secret eggs” are hidden throughout the park, and two lucky hunters will discover grand-prize tickets for brand-new bikes generously donated by Strathmore Canadian Tire. 

The egg hunt kicks off at 11 a.m., and families are encouraged to arrive a little early with their own baskets brought from home, as baskets will not be supplied. A fun bonnet-decorating contest adds even more excitement, with kids showing off their most creative and colourful spring designs.

The Strathmore Canada Day celebration at Kinsmen Park is a full day of community fun, sunshine, and hometown pride. Families can start the morning with the beloved Firehall Pancake Breakfast, then make their way to the park for a vibrant outdoor market, a cheerful petting zoo, and plenty of activities for all ages. RE/MAX Key pops fresh popcorn throughout the day and proudly hosts the annual bike parade, where kids are invited to bring their decorated bikes and compete for fun prizes.

The Langdon Pumpkin Patch is a beloved fall tradition that brings families together for a day of seasonal fun. Set in the heart of the community, the patch offers a festive atmosphere filled with bright pumpkins, cheerful photo spots, and activities kids love year after year. Families can explore the patch, pick their perfect pumpkin, and enjoy simple fall favourites like treats, crafts, and lighthearted games.

It’s a warm and welcoming celebration of autumn in Langdon—perfect for making memories, snapping family photos, and soaking in the spirit of the season.

Accessible Trick-or-Treating is a nation-wide RE/MAX initiative designed to make Halloween safer, easier, and more inclusive for children of all abilities. Homes that participate display a special lawn sign so families know the walkway is accessible, the treats are easy to reach, and the experience is welcoming for everyone.

Families in our area can pick up their Accessible Trick-or-Treating lawn signs directly from the RE/MAX Key Team and our office locations, helping us create a community where every child gets to enjoy the magic of Halloween.

Join the festive fun in downtown Strathmore, at the annual Santa Claus Parade – kicking off the holiday season on the last Saturday each November. Expect colourful floats, cheerful music, and the grand appearance of Santa himself – all in a warm, community-first celebration designed for families, neighbours and friends. 

Road closures begin at 4 p.m. to get ready for the magic. Come early to stake a good viewing spot along the parade route, bundle up for the November chill, and bring the whole family to experience this heart-warming kickoff to the season.
